From the old concept …

The first two field that were built, were multifunctional sports fields where multiple sports could be played. The fields were made using local materials and contructed with local labour

Towards a new way forward

The new fields are made of strong and sustainable material supplied by an expert from The Netherlands. The reason for using Western materials are the build quality which results in a longer lifetime

Next to the multifunctional sports field, where different sports can be played, the sports field will include of a outside gym and play ground. Next to the field, a water well will be

    • An outdoor gym and playing ground where children can exercise if the sports field is occupied (or if they prefer to exercise :))

    • A water well where children can drink, because sports make people thirsty

    • A material container with an outdoor pool table

    • The material changed from concrete to artificial grass because it lasts much longer

    • Companies have the opportunity to display their name or logo on the field, baskets or material container

    • The sports field is still multifunctional: different sports can be played (football, basketball handball and volleyball)

    • As much local labour as possible will be used to build the field (to stimulate the local economy)

Field philosophy

We do not see our sports fields, as sports fields. Our sports field are gathering places where the right people meet

A sports field can probably be built anywhere with enough space — but we take a different approach. Placed in the right location, our sports field becomes more than just a place to play

By building sports fields for local initiatives, we create a pull effect that draws in local children, empowering these initiatives to make a greater impact
